By downloading, installing, or using AIT Scribe (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
1. The app is free
AIT Scribe is free to download and use for personal and commercial use. There is no license fee. If you use cloud engines (OpenAI, Sarvam), those providers may charge you directly for their API usage — that is between you and them.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app to transcribe conversations you don’t have consent to record, where consent is required by law in your jurisdiction.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the compiled app binaries.
- Re-distribute the app, modified or unmodified, as your own product.
- Use the app to generate content that violates applicable laws (defamation, harassment, etc.).
3. Your content
Anything you transcribe is yours. We claim no ownership over your audio, your transcripts, or any derivative content. We also don’t have access to it — it lives on your device.
4. Warranty disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee that transcription accuracy will meet your specific requirements, that the app will be uninterrupted, or that it will be bug-free.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIT Scribe and its authors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the app, including lost data, lost profits, or business interruption.
6. Updates & changes
We may update the app and these terms at any time. Material changes to these terms will be noted with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
7. Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We can stop offering the app at any time, though we’ll do our best to give reasonable notice.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where AI Thinkers is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
